Art Club Special Events
In addition to regular Workshops and Demonstrations, the Art Club
also organises a range of Special Events. These include occasional outings to Art
Galleries and Exhibitions around the country. Members of the public are welcome
to come along, space permitting. For more information about the programme,
please contact the Special Events Secretary. The following Special
Events are being planned.
Tuesday 19 September 2006 - Annual General Meeting
Come along and show your support for the Art Club. Committee business
is concluded as rapidly as possible, and followed by wine and nibbles and a
chance to chat to fellow members about art. Bring a couple of your paintings
along and enter an informal prize painting competition. The Annual General
Meeting is open to members of the public. The AGM is at
Centre 70 from 7:30 to 9:30pm. You will find ample free parking outside.
Tuesday 19 December 2006 - Christmas Dinner
Art Club members, along with their partners & guests, are invited to
enjoy the seasonal good will and cheer at the annual Art Club bring & share
Christmas Dinner at Centre 70. Bring along your favourite painting and enter an
informal prize show. After dinner there will be a fun quiz.
